About

Nonprofits are the unsung heroes of our communities. They bring people together to solve problems that could otherwise never be solved. Unfortunately, many nonprofits struggle to finance their projects. Without a sensible fundraising strategy and without the ability to clearly communicate their visions to potential funders, those projects may never even come off the ground.

Ursa Minor Fundraising was founded to help turn those brilliant but nebulous ideas into galactic impact. Polaris, the North Star, represents the moral compass that nonprofits provide. Ursa Minor is the constellation around Polaris.

We understand the unique challenges that small and medium-sized nonprofits face in today’s competitive fundraising landscape. We’re dedicated to providing tailored solutions that drive meaningful results. And we’ll do it with transparency and collaboration, ensuring that you’re in the loop every step of the way.

One of our core services is pipeline management, where we help you build and manage a robust pipeline of potential funders. We help identify and prioritize prospects, track their engagement, and nurture relationships for long-term success. We understand the importance of donor cultivation and stewardship, and we work closely with you to develop strategies that align with your organization’s mission and vision.

Another crucial service we offer is grant prospect research. We know that finding the right grant opportunities can be overwhelming and time-consuming. We conduct comprehensive research to identify relevant grants from foundations, corporations, government agencies, and other sources that align with your organization’s goals and priorities. We provide you with detailed recommendations, allowing you to make informed decisions and optimize your grant-seeking efforts.

Once you’ve identified potential grants, we can assist you in crafting compelling grant proposals. We understand the nuances of grant writing and know how to effectively communicate your organization’s mission, goals, and impact to potential funders. Our grant proposals are tailored to each grant opportunity, showcasing your strengths and differentiators to maximize your chances of success.

But our services don’t stop at grant proposals. We offer comprehensive services for nonprofit success, including strategic planning, grant reporting, and support with annual campaigns, business sponsorships, fundraising events, and managing your Google Ad Grant. We also offer training for your staff members to build organizational capacity and fortify your internal development department.
